Fireside: Meletos & Punt Road
A roaming feast, shaped by flame and served across the night
As part of Fireside Festival 2026, Meletos and Punt Road invite guests into an evening shaped by smoke, flame, wine, and winter hospitality in the heart of the Yarra Valley.
Beginning at Punt Road’s Cellar Door with wine tasting and roaming canapés, the evening then unfolds through Meletos as a roaming feast designed to be experienced across the night.
This is not a traditional seated dinner. Guests are encouraged to wander between live cooking stations, fire pits, grazing spaces, candlelit corners, and the warmth of the woodfire oven as dishes are prepared and served directly from the flame.
Chefs will cook over live coals throughout the evening, with food roamed continuously through the space and served as it becomes ready from the kitchen and fire. Long communal tables will be available for those who wish to pause and settle for a moment, while the experience itself remains relaxed, abundant, and designed for movement, conversation, and discovery.
Across the night, guests can gather around outdoor fire pits with mulled cider, toast marshmallows over open flame, explore wines through the Cellar Door Wine Bar, or settle into the warmth of Meletos with seasonal cocktails and fire-cooked dishes moving throughout the venue.
Warm, abundant, and deeply grounded in the season, this is winter dining shaped by fire, movement, and shared experience.

Menu
The evening’s menu will unfold as a generous roaming feast shaped by flame, smoke, and winter hospitality, designed to encourage guests to move, gather, and graze throughout the night.
Guests will begin with a selection of roaming canapés including smoked tomato and goat’s cheese tarts, tartare, gildas, and smoked trout bonbons, accompanied by a Punt Road wine tasting in the Cellar Door on arrival.
From there, the experience continues through Meletos, where chefs will cook over live coals and fire throughout the night. Every dish throughout the evening will be cooked over flame, from the whole roast spit pig at the centre of the feast to seafood, meats, seasonal sides, and wood-fired breads, all prepared over coals, smoke, and open fire and designed to be enjoyed gradually across the night.
Food will move continuously through the space as it becomes ready from the kitchen, coals, and woodfire oven, creating an abundant and relaxed style of dining that encourages guests to gather, wander, return for more, and settle into the rhythm of the evening.
For guests wishing to finish on something sweet, desserts will be available as an optional extra across the night.
